Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project No. P000801, Road Maintenance 2001-2002, to perform the necessary improvements on the additional streets added to the Road Maintenance 2001-2002 contract.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-10-02, adopted October 7, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P000801, Road Maintenance 2001-2002, to Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C.; and,
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2002, the St. Charles Parish Council added nine (9) streets to the Road Maintenance 2001-2002 contract, and to perform the necessary improvements on those streets, an additional $222,994.00 to the original contract price is required.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Road Maintenance 2001-2002 in the amount of $222,994.00 be added to the original contract price to perform the additional necessary improvements.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
