Title
A resolution adopting a St. Charles Parish Residential Antidisplacement and Relocation Assistance Plan for usage in the implementation of the FY2002 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant Program.
Body
WHEREAS,      the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development prohibits the release of Community Development Block Grant Funds until the grantee officially adopts and certifies that it is following a residential antidisplacement and relocation assistance plan; and,
WHEREAS,      St. Charles Parish has formulated the "St. Charles Parish Residential Antidisplacement Plan:  under Section 104 (d) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, for compliance with federal requirements; and.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby adopt the "St. Charles Parish Residential Antidisplacement Plan under Section 104 (d) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended", for usage in the implementation of the Fiscal Year 2002 LCDBG Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to forward the official plan and appropriate certification statement to the State of Louisiana, Division of Administration and to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
