Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 01-11-4, adopted on November 5, 2001, for the construction of Project P980703 Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade in the amount of $3,179,684.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-11-4 was adopted unanimously on November 5, 2001, which ordinance included language which mandated that the awarding of Project P980703 Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade be made contingent upon St. Charles Parish receiving railroad permits; and
WHEREAS, all construction work which would have been within the railroad right-of-way will be moved to be completely outside of the railroad right-of-way, making it unnecessary to obtain a railroad permit.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 01-11-4 for the construction of Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade by Boh Bros. Construction, L.L.C. be amended to delete the mandatory requirement that the awarding of Project P980703 be made contingent upon St. Charles Parish receiving railroad permits.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the contract documents associated with Ordinance 01-11-4. as amended herein.
