IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Matthew William Dolese is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Ama, Louisiana with his parents Gary and Catherine and brothers Christopher, John, and the late James Dolese; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew was a Jr. Assistant Scout Master and Member of Troop 370, chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, he started his Scouting career in September 1992; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew has spent the last 11 years as an active Member of the Scouts spending the last 7 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew has earned his 21 required merit badges and 17 elective badges from a list of 132 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by remodeling and repairing the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew earned these 38 required badges by showing leadership ability as patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, troop guide, quartermaster, and junior assistant scout master; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT in February 2003 and received his medal in a ceremony on March 30, 2003, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS,      Matthew is a Senior at Hahnville High School and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 370.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
MATTHEW WILLIAM DOLESE
