Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P081102-5, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization Phase 4, to increase contract amount by $15,304.62 and increase contract time by 45 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14-12-12 adopted December 15, 2014 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P081102-5, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization Phase 4, to Circle Construction Company, LLC in the amount of $1,427,563.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to extend the sheet piling by an additional 104 linear feet to protect the Dunleith Canal west side bank between the Shell Pipeline and Carriage Canal; and,
WHEREAS, this additional work will be offset by changes as described in the change order resulting in an increase in the contract amount by $15,304.62 and increase in the contract time by 45 days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P081102-5, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization Phase 4, increase contract amount by $15,304.62 and increase contract time by 45 days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
