A resolution to approve the hiring of the firm of Adams and Reese, LLP as the Legislative Liaison for the River Region Caucus.
Body
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2004, the Parish Presidents of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. James and Ascension Parishes met to review the proposals and to decide on a Legislative Liaison to replace the retiring Ms. Sarah Whalen, Legislative Liaison for the River Region Caucus; and,
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2004, the Parish Presidents decided on hiring the firm of Adams and Reese, LLP, upon the approval by Resolutions from the Parish Councils of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. James and Ascension Parishes; and,
WHEREAS, the members of the St. Charles Parish Council agree that the services received from a Legislative Liaison have benefited the Parish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of the attached Engagement Letter for the hiring of the firm of Adams & Reese, LLP., to serve as Legislative Liaison for the River Region Caucus.
