Title
An ordinance to revoke and abandon a right-of-way for undeveloped Glynn Street, Ama.
Body
WHEREAS, certain property was laid out for use as Glynn Street, on a plat of Ama Heights Subdivision by Lucien Gassen, dated July 31, 1982, approved by Ordinance No. 82-12-9, adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on December 6, 1982 and recorded on December 10, 1982 in COB 291, Folio 125, Entry No. 92379 of the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Courts Office; and,
WHEREAS, the property is not presently developed as a street and has no public use and/or benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to revoke said property pursuant to Chapter 2 Sec. 2-4 of the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances as indicated on a plat of Ama Heights Subdivision by Lucien Gassen, dated July 31, 1982.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Revocation of property laid out for use as Glynn Street, on the plat of Ama Heights Subdivision by Lucien Gassen, dated July 31, 1982, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Revocation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2007, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
