Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Act of Donation by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for the Radio Tower Property located along Highway 306, Bayou Gauche.
Body
WHEREAS, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is the owner of a certain 2.662 acre tract of land located along Highway 306, Bayou Gauche, which is being used as a Radio Tower by the Bayou Gauche Volunteer Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has agreed to donate said Radio Tower Property to St. Charles Parish, which property is shown as Lot 940A on a Plat recorded in Book 677, Page 841 of the Conveyance Records of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to accept said Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Donation - Immovable Property by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for the Bayou Gauche Volunteer Fire Department Radio Tower Property to St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
