Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 20-3-3 which approved a Contract for Engineering Services between N-Y Associates, Inc. and St. Charles Parish for Resident Inspection services for Parish Project No. S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation.

WHEREAS, on March 9, 2020 the St. Charles Parish Council approved Ordinance No. 20-3-3; a Contract for Engineering Services between St. Charles Parish and N-Y Associates, Inc. for the design and subsequent construction of Parish Project No. S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation; and,
WHEREAS, the Contract for Engineering Services between St. Charles Parish and N-Y Associates, Inc. needs to be amended to add fees associated with Resident Inspection in an amount "Not to Exceed" $38,400.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1, attached to and made a part hereof, to the professional services contract with N-Y Associates, Inc., for providing necessary construction management services for project S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation. is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 to the Contract for Engineering Services on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2021 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
