Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Civil Construction Contractors, LLC for the construction of Parish Project No. P090905, Rathborne Park Walking Trail, with Base Bid, Alternate No. 1, Alternate No. 2, and Alternate No. 3 in the amount of $557,664.85.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on February 18, 2010 for Rathborne Park Walking Trail; and,
WHEREAS, Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and has identified the low bidder, Civil Construction Contractors, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of St. Charles Parish to award the Base Bid and all Alternates, for the benefit of all residents of the Parish.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Civil Construction Contractors, LLC, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P090905, Rathborne Park Walking Trail, is hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $557,664.85.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
