Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an agreement to make irrevocable donation between St. Charles Parish and RNW Community, LLC and Normandy Associates for property upon which to construct the Des Allemands Boat Launch located off LA 632 in Des Allemands.
Body
WHEREAS, it has been the desire of the Parish to relocate the existing problematic Des Allemands Boat launch from its current location beneath the Highway 90 Bridge; and,
WHEREAS, RNW Community, LLC and Normandy Associates have offered to donate property located off LA 632 for the relocation of the Des Allemands Boat Launch upon the Parish securing funds for its construction; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to construct a boat launch at this location and wishes to accept the property offered for donation upon the Parish securing the necessary funding to construct the boat launch.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the agreement to make irrevocable donation between St. Charles Parish and RNW Community, LLC and Normandy Associates for property upon which to construct the Des Allemands Boat Launch located off LA 632 in Des Allemands is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement to Make Irrevocable Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
