Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of Project P021006, Primrose Box Culverts in the amount of $377,032.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on February 13,2004 for Primrose Box Culverts; and,
WHEREAS, Barowka & Bonura Engineering & Consultants, L.L.C., consulting engineer for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Fleming Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $377,032.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Fleming Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of Primrose Box Culverts be hereby accepted in the amount of $377,032.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2004, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
