Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Stuart Consulting Group, Inc., to perform engineering services for Eastbank Lift Stations Rehabilitation Project (Project No. S211203), in the amount not to exceed $213,780.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to rehabilitate three lift stations located on the east bank of St. Charles Parish, East Street, Clayton Street, and Wildcat Lane stations; and,
WHEREAS, replacement of piping and pumps at East and Clayton lift stations and replacement of entire station at Wildcat lift station, as well as the installation of an emergency pump out at each station, is proposed to update the stations to submersible pumps and eliminate existing dry wells for longer working life for all stations; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Stuart Consulting Group, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Stuart Consulting Group, Inc., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Wastewater for Eastbank Lift Stations Rehabilitation Project (Project No. S211203), in the amount not to exceed $213,780.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
