Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and final for the Emergency Waterline Replacement - Hwy. 90 to Ama to increase the contract time by 87 calendar Days and to decrease the contract amount by $5,817.55.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 02-8-14 adopted August 5, 2002, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Co., Inc. for the Emergency Waterline Replacement - Hwy. 90 to Ama in the amount of $449,920.00 and,
SECTION II. That it is necessary to increase the contract time by 87 days and to decrease the contract amount by $5,817.55.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) and final for the Emergency Waterline Replacement - Highway 90 to Ama to increase the contract time by 87 Calendar Days and to decrease the contract amount by $5,817.55
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
