Title
A resolution of support for maintenance of beautification improvements in the Destrehan pilot area.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish has requested permission from the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development to work on State rights-of-way in Destrehan to construct beautification improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the State has indicated its agreement with the request to construct these improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the State does not wish to be responsible for perpetual maintenance of any improvements placed on its right-of-way in St. Charles Parish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby confirm to the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development our intention to perpetually maintain beautification improvements constructed on the State's rights-of-way in the Destrehan area.
