Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the construction of Federal Project No. 22-00876, Killona Park Development, Phase III, to increase the contract time by fifty-three (53) days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-7-1, adopted July 11, 2011, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Frickey Brothers Construction, LLC for the construction of Federal Project No. 22-00876, Killona Park Development, Phase III, in the amount of $144,873.00; and,
WHEREAS, the increase in contract time was a result of delays in approval, ordering and shipment of specialty items (lighting fixtures and bulbs) causing a delay in the installation of the lighting for the baseball fields.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the construction of Federal Project No. 22-00876, Killona Park Development, Phase III, to increase the contract time by fifty-three (53) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
