IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Alyse Granier is the daughter of Brett and Jill Granier and is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Bayou Gauche with her mother and her sister Stephanie; and,
WHEREAS, Alyse, a Senior at Hahnville High School, has been named 2006 Hahnville High School Student of the Year. Alyse will graduate in the top 5% of her class with a 3.96 grade point average; and,
WHEREAS, Alyse is president of the National Honor Society; Cheerleading Captain; Year Book Editor; member of the Beta Club; Talented Drama, and a member of the Future Christian Athletics; and,
WHEREAS, Alyse is involved in the Community as a member of the Monsanto Community Advisory Panel, Cox Education Plugged In, and is the St. Charles Parish Farm Bureau Queen; and,
WHEREAS, Alyse will attend Spring Hill University in Alabama on a scholarship Majoring in Integrated Communications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
