IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Julianne Terese Beaugh is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Montz, Louisiana with her parents Kenvard and Cindy Beaugh; and,
WHEREAS, Julianne is a Junior at Destrehan High School; her goal is to earn an Athletic Scholarship to play softball in college where she would like to pursue a degree in Mass Communications; and,
WHEREAS, Julianne is a Member in the National Society of High School Scholars; received an Outstanding Achievement Award for Destrehan High School Social Studies Fair; a Member of the Advanced Choir, Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Singers; Varsity Letterman in Softball Freshman and Sophomore Year; MVP in Softball 2003 - 2004, and a Member of the 2004 NFSA National Championship Team; and,
WHEREAS, Julianne was a Counselor at Ascension of Our Lord Church Bible Camp, is a children's counselor at Shannon's Health and Fitness Center, helps teach pitching techniques to young girls, and this summer she had an opportunity to umpire her first softball game; and,
WHEREAS, Julianne's special talents include fast pitch softball, singing, dancing, and swimming, this summer she learned how to drive, and in her spare time she enjoyed watching movies with her friends and family; and,
WHEREAS, Julianne is presently enrolled in TV and Commercial print classes at John Robert Powers in New Orleans; she hopes to take advantage of the recent film industry growth in Louisiana for a possible career in print, television, or movie production.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
