An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services contract with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. WWKS-44, East Bank Plant Upgrade, East Bank Water Storage Tanks & West Bank Plant Filter Upgrade.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to have Parish Project No. WWKS-44, East Bank Plant Upgrade, East Bank Water Storage Tanks & West Bank Plant Filter Upgrade completed; and,
WHEREAS, this project requires professional services for the design, construction and administration of miscellaneous water treatment plant upgrades at the East & West Bank Water Treatment Plants; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on May 14, 2003 and recommended award of Parish Project No. WWKS-44, East Bank Plant Upgrade, East Bank Water Storage Tanks & West Bank Plant Filter Upgrade to Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. WWKS-44, East Bank Plant Upgrade, East Bank Water Storage Tanks & West Bank Plant Filter Upgrade is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Engineering Services Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2003, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
