ORDINANCE NO.                   

Title

An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 06-1-18 the Moratorium on the approval of any new subdivisions or developments defined therein on the East Bank of St. Charles Parish to allow consideration and approval of minor subdivisions of no more than five lots.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 06-1-18 on January 23, 2006, which established a Moratorium on the approval of any new subdivisions or developments defined therein on the East Bank of St. Charles Parish; and,

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to amend said Moratorium to allow for consideration and approval of minor subdivisions as defined in the St. Charles Parish Code, Appendix C, Subdivision Regulations, as a resubdivision of no more than five lots.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That Ordinance No. 06-1-18 is hereby amended by adding the following:

SECTION III.      That the MORATORIUM established herein shall not apply to minor subdivisions as defined in the St. Charles Parish Code, Appendix C, Subdivision Regulations, as a resubdivision of no more than five lots and does not require new or extending public improvements.
