Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Sealevel, Inc. for the construction of Project P011002, Bar None East Subsurface, Phase I, in the amount of $236,572.20.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on February 21, 2003 for the Bar None East Subsurface, Phase I Project; and,
WHEREAS, Pan American Engineers - Baton Rouge, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Sealevel, Inc., in the amount of $236,572.20.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Sealevel, Inc. for the construction of Bar None East Subsurface, Phase I is hereby accepted in the amount of $236,572.20.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2003, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
