Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Agreement between Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC and St. Charles Parish to render certain technical assistance services in the implementation of the Parish's Hurricane Gustav/Ike Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Disaster Recovery Program.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish intends to implement its Hurricane Gustav/Ike CDBG Disaster Recovery Program, which involves the planning, programming, application, award, and implementation of one or more disaster recovery projects in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the expenditure of the Parish's $4,809,266 in CDBG Disaster Recovery funding; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to engage Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC to render certain technical assistance services in the implementation of the Parish's Hurricane Gustav/Ike CDBG Disaster Recovery Program; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of said services is reimbursable with the CDBG Disaster Recovery funding; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish and Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC to enter into an agreement for said services.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Agreement between Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
