Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 02-9-2 adopted September 9, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council authorizing a contract with Angelo Iafrate Construction, LLC, for the construction of the East Bike & Pedestrian Path, Phase A & B, State project No. 744-45-003, Federal Aid Project No. EHN-4500(503) to change the contract amount to $1,183,911.05.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance 00-9-17 authorized St. Charles Parish to enter into an Agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the construction of the East Bike & Pedestrian Path, Phase A & B,
WHEREAS, Article II-Funding, paragraph 3, of the Agreement states that St. Charles Parish is responsible for all costs incurred beyond the funding limits of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-9-2 adopted September 9, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Angelo Iafrate Construction, LLC, for the construction of East Bike & Pedestrian Path, Phase A & B in the amount of $1,054,438.05,
WHEREAS, the Final Pay Estimate (with all plan changes) has been approved by the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development and is $129,473.00 above the original contract amount,
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 02-9-2 be amended to change the contract amount from $1,054,438.05 to $1,183,911.05.
