Title
An ordinance to rescind Ordinance No. 99-9-22 which provided mandatory security clearance through metal detectors for all persons prior to entering the Parish Council Meetings.
Body
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1999, Ordinance No. 99-9-22 was adopted by the Parish Council authorizing amendment to the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, providing mandatory security clearance through metal detectors for all persons prior to entering the Parish Council Meetings;
WHEREAS, the provisions of Ordinance No. 99-9-22 have never been implemented; and,
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2000, the Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee recommended rescinding Ordinance No. 99-9-22.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 99-9-22 adopted on September 7, 1999, is hereby rescinded.
