ORDINANCE NO.                                                                 

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the Parish President to execute Amendment No. 2 to Joint-Use Agreement No. 44 signed August 24, 1982, as amended July 29, 2005.

Body

WHEREAS,                     St. Charles Parish and the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development have agreed to enter into Amendment No.2 of Joint-Use agreement No.44 which will allow St. Charles Parish to establish a Trailhead for its residents.  This Trailhead will provide auto parking, a restroom, gazebo and benches.  This will allow residents using the levee path to have access to restroom facilities without having to cross river road.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     That Amendment No. 2 to the Joint-Use Agreement No. 44 between the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and St. Charles Parish for the purpose of a Trailhead is hereby approved and accepted.

SECTION II.                     That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

And the ordinance was declared adopted this              day of                      , 2018, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
