Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order One (1) for Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, to decrease the contract amount by $76,000.00.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 04-2-11 , adopted February 16, 2004 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Grillot Construction Co., L.L.C. for the construction of Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. One (1) is necessary since Grillot Construction Co., L.L.C. will not require as many construction access roads as originally anticipated.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Administration is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, to decrease the overall contract amount by $76,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
The foregoing Ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2004, to become effective five (5) days after this publication in the official journal.
