IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Mrs. Dolores Faucheux is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Hahnville, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Dolores Faucheux is a volunteer with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and serves at the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center first opened in July of 1996 at the West Bank Bridge Park, in the former 100 year old historic Bethlehem Hall; and,
WHEREAS, in July of 2014, the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center was relocated to the grounds of Destrehan Plantation; and,
WHEREAS, in July of 2016, the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center celebrates its 20th Anniversary; and,
WHEREAS, for the past 20 years, Mrs. Dolores Faucheux has welcomed visitors to the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center, sharing her knowledge of St. Charles Parish with them; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Dolores Faucheux is the only original remaining volunteer since the opening of the St. Charles Parish Tourist Information Center in 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby thank and recognize
MRS. DOLORES FAUCHEUX
FOR HER CONTINUED DEDICATION AND SERVICE TO THE ST. CHARLES PARISH TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER
