IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, a special thank you goes to Ms. Debra McNay, MMC, City Clerk, City of Norco, California for all her hard work in organizing the transaction between the City of Norco, and the Norco Public Schools in California, to the City of Norco, Louisiana to insure the check for over $10,600.00 reached the schools and students of Sacred Heart of Norco, Norco Primary, and Norco Elementary after Hurricane Katrina; and,
WHEREAS, without the help of Ms. McNay this unselfish gift would not have been possible; and,
WHEREAS, this unselfish act has actually bonded the two locations separated by over 2,000 miles and forged a friendship that will last for years to come.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
