IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Victoria Lynn Pellerin is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Montz, Louisiana with her parents Spellman and Donna Pellerin and her siblings, Angelle and Spellman, Jr.; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria is a 2010 graduate of Destrehan High School where she was on the Honor Roll and Dean's List, Captain of the Desty Darling Dance Team her Freshman year, and the recipient of the Bridget A. Bazile Scholarship; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria is currently a Junior at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond majoring in Nursing and minoring in Radiology; her future plans are to work at Children's Hospital; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria is a member of the Wetland Watchers, was Wetland Watchers radio and television Ambassador, KOM top counselor, KOM member, dance teacher at Dance Unlimited, has volunteered at the Assisted Living Christmas Party, participates in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in St. John the Baptist Parish, Kenner, and St. Charles Parish, and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans Buddy Walk; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria was a member of the 2010-2012 New Orleans VooDoo Dolls dance/cheer team and was recently selected as a member of the 2012-2013 New Orleans Honeybees dance/cheer team; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria enjoys dancing, acting, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, vacationing, enjoying the outdoors, and attending the races with her family; and,
WHEREAS, on August 5, 2012, Victoria was crowned the 54th Miss Queen at the Annual St. Charles Parish Festival Pageant held at Sacred Heart School in Norco, and was also the winner of the Photogenic and Fashion Awards; and,
WHEREAS, Victoria describes herself as being artistic, energetic, and ambitious.
