A resolution to grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association to solicit contributions on Highway 90 at the red light in front of Wal-Mart and the intersection of US 61 and Ormond Boulevard on May 1 and 2, 2004.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Revised Statute 32:218 B provides for the solicitation of contributions by non-profit organizations on a public roadway; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association has requested permission to solicit contributions on Highway 90 at the red light in front of Wal-Mart and the intersection of US 61 and Ormond Boulevard for the purpose of contributing to the Muscular Dystrophy Association/Jerry Lewis Telethon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association to solicit contributions on Highway 90 at the red light in front of Wal-Mart and the intersection of US 61 and Ormond Boulevard on May 1 and 2, 2004, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.
