Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project No. P980604 Talbot Drive Drainage Improvements to decrease the contract amount by $1,025.00 and to increase the contract time by 29 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARSIH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 99-7-4 adopted July 6, 1999 by the
St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract
with "K" Construction for the construction of the Talbot Drive Drainage
Improvements in the amount of $140,855.00
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the
original contract quantities with actual installed quantities and to increase the
contract time by 29 calendar days to account for more concrete removed and
replaced along with rain days encountered during the original contract time.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by
$1,025.00 and increase the contract time by 29 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE
ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution
of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Talbot Drive Drainage Improvements and to decrease the contract amount by $1,025.00 and increase the contract time by 29 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
