Title
A resolution endorsing a waiver from the required 50' width to 48' for the resubdivision of Lot 52 of the P. R. Vicknair Subdivision, 282 Schoolhouse Road, Killona, into two lots in the R-1AM zoning district as requested by Lloyd J. Frickey.
Body
WHEREAS, Lot 52 of the P. R. Vicknair Subdivision, situated in Section 65, T12S, R19E at 282 Schoolhouse Road Killona is 96 feet wide and 20,352 square feet; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has requested the lot be resubdivided into two equal lots; and,
WHEREAS, the resulting lots will be 48 feet wide which is 2 feet less than the minimum required width of 50 feet in the R-1AM zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, the Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council to waive the required frontage on a developed public street; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, at their meeting of April 6, 2017, recommended approval of the resubdivision with said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, hereby provides this supporting resolution endorsing the resubdivision of Lot 52 of the P. R. Vicknair Subdivision, in Section 65, T12S, R19E at 282 Schoolhouse Road, Killona, into Lots 52A and 52B with a waiver from 50 feet to 48 feet for the required width as requested by Lloyd J. Frickey.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this ____ day of , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
