Title
A resolution supporting the application to the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2017-2018 funding in the amount of $100,000.00 to improve an HVAC chiller at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse, an essential government building located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Legislature House Bill 2 allocated $12.7 million for the Local Government Assistance Program for fiscal year 2017-2018; and,
WHEREAS, the amount available to each parish for the fiscal year is $100,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the improvement of an HVAC chiller at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse, an essential government building located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville, is an activity that is eligible for assistance under the program; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish Council's support for the application to have said project included in the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, hereby provide this resolution in support of the application for the improvement of an HVAC chiller at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse, an essential government building located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville in the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2017-2018.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute a Contract to provide funding for said project and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to this Contract.
