Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation for the construction of Project P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization, in the amount of $631,830.00.
Body
WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on December 13, 2002, for Ormond Trace Stabilization; and,
WHEREAS,      Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc., Consulting Engineer for the Project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation, in the amount of $631,830.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
      SECTION I.      That the bid of Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation for the construction of Ormond Trace Stabilization be hereby accepted in the amount of $631,830.00.
      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

      The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
