Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Gottfried Contracting for the West Bank Water Storage Tank (Project No. WWKS 56) in the amount of $1,690,217.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on September 14, 2012, for the West Bank Water Storage Tank (Project No. WWKS 56); and,
WHEREAS, Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. has reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Gottfried Contracting in the amount of $1,690,217.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Gottfried Contracting for the West Bank Water Storage Tank (Project No. WWKS 56) be hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $1,690,217.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
