Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the establishment of a Home Occupation under the operation of Jonathan and Becky Jacobs - "Anywhere But Here Transport, LLC" - a trucking company - at 203 Ormond Village Drive, Destrehan.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Section XXII states that the Parish Council must approve a home occupation requiring any state license or permit; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed home occupation of Jonathan and Becky Jacobs requires a Commercial Drivers' License from the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles; and,
WHERAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with the stipulation that if the truck is documented to be parked overnight at an illegal location, the home occupation will be revoked
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the home occupation application by Jonathan and Becky Jacobs to operate "Anywhere But Here Transport, LLC," a trucking company, at 203 Ormond Village Drive, Destrehan is hereby approved, and
SECTION II. That the Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to grant Jonathan and Becky Jacobs a home occupation permit to have the office for a trucking company at 203 Ormond Village Drive, Destrehan, and
SECTION III. That if any truck used by Anywhere But Here Transport, LLC is documented to be parked at an illegal location in St. Charles Parish, the home occupation permit will be revoked.
