ORDINANCE NO.                    

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 2 to Ordinance No. 83-5-4, which approved a Joint Use Agreement with the Department of Transportation and Development to allow for the construction of the West Bank Bridge Park Pavilion at 13825 River Road in Luling.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 83-5-4 on May 2, 1983 which approved a Joint Use Agreement (No.45) with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the East and West Bank Bridge Parks, as amended by Ordinance No. 05-8-3 on August 1, 2005; and,

WHEREAS,      the Parish has requested that said Joint Use Agreement be amended to include the construction of a pavilion and three horseshoe pits at the West Bank Bridge Park as per Amendment No. 2 to said Agreement; and,

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve Amendment No. 2 to said Agreement.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That Amendment No. 2 to State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development, Joint Use Agreement No. 45 (West Bank Bridge Park, I-310 at Luling Bridge) is hereby approved.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 2 to Joint Use Agreement No. 45 on behalf of the St. Charles Parish.
