Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with BLD Services, LLC, for Parish Project No. S091101; Primrose Lift Station and Force Main Upgrades, with a Base Bid in the amount of $923,550 with an Alternate Bid of $56,150.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on October 13, 2105 for S091101; Primrose Lift Station and Force Main Upgrades; and,
WHEREAS, Environmental Engineering Service, Inc, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Base Bid ($923,550) and Alternate 1 ($56,150) of the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, BLD Services, LLC, in the total amount of $979,700.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of BLD Services, LLC, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S091101; Primrose Lift Station and Force Main Upgrades, is hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $979,700.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
