Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Advanced Quality Construction, Inc, for the construction of Parish Project No. S100902, Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main, with a Bid in the amount of $956,542.20.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on September 20, 2012 for Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main; and,
WHEREAS, Environmental Engineering Services, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid of the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Advanced Quality Construction, Inc., in the amount of $956,542.20.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Advanced Quality Construction, Inc., for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S100902, Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main, be hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $956,542.20.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
