An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Byron E. Talbot Contractor, Inc. for the construction of Project P011004, Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage in the amount of $317,490.50.
Body
WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on February 28, 2003 for Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage; and,
WHEREAS,      Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Byron E. Talbot Contractor, Inc., in the amount of $317,490.50.
 
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
      SECTION I.      That the bid of Byron E. Talbot Contractor, Inc. for the construction of Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage be hereby accepted in the amount of $317,490.50.
      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
