An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with BLD Services, LLC, for Parish Project No. P090301; Fairfield and Oakland Conveyance and Pump Station Upgrades, with a Bid in the amount of $749,050.00.

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on September 3, 2014 for Fairfield and Oakland Conveyance and Pump Station Upgrades; and,
WHEREAS, Principal Engineering, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid of the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, BLD Services, LLC, in the amount of $749,050.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of BLD Services, LLC, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P090301; Fairfield and Oakland Conveyance and Pump Station Upgrades, be hereby approved and accepted, in the amount of $749,050.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
