IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Brittany Steib is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Norco, Louisiana with her parents Craig and Stephanie Steib and her brothers, Peyton and Jacob; and,
WHEREAS, Brittany is a 2012 graduate of Destrehan High School and is currently a Sophomore at Delgado Community College, working towards a Social Science Transfer Degree. She would like to someday attend a four-year university and major in Psychology. She hopes to one day be a counselor to support people in need of guidance; and,
WHEREAS, Brittany is a three-time recipient of the Cox Inspirational Hero award, she received perfect attendance her junior and senior year, was voted Most School Spirit her senior year, and received the Mahler award for the Choir; and,
WHEREAS, Brittany enjoys working with the children's choir at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco; and,
WHEREAS, Brittany loves singing, hanging out with friends, and going to country music concerts; and,
WHEREAS, on Saturday, November 15, 2014, Brittany was crowned the 1st Miss Heart of Gold Queen at the River Parishes Fall Festival annual Queen of Hearts Pageant held at Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Norco; and,
WHEREAS, Brittany will represent the parish at several fairs and festivals throughout Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
