Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Multiphase Project Contract for Engineering Services with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers for the inspection of the Mississippi River Levee Bike Path projects.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish had entered into agreements with State and Federal entities to have bike paths built upon the Mississippi River levees; and,
WHEREAS, before any of these projects can be constructed it is necessary to have a Resident Project Representative available to perform inspection work; and,
WHEREAS, it is important that St. Charles Parish proceed with this project in order to increase the well-being of and enjoyment by its citizens.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Multiphase Project Contract for Engineering Services with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers for the inspection of the Mississippi River Levee Bike Path projects is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the said Engineering Services Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
