 IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Amanda M. Sullivan is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Norco, Louisiana and is the daughter of Ursin & Dawn Abbate and Gary & Karol Sullivan; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda is a Sophomore at Destrehan High School and plans to attend Louisiana State University to study Creative Arts; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda would like to have an active part in her student body during her high school years by participating in school events, the Beta Club and being a member of the Desty Darlings Dance Team; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda was a D.A.R.E. essay award winner, received a Peer Mediator Award, Outstanding Art Award, Music Award, and Student of the Month; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda has been on the Honor Roll and Principal's List; she was a Social Studies Fair winner and Homecoming Queen for the Norco Booster Club; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda enjoys participating in various school functions and dancing at Friday night football games; she also enjoys shopping, camping, going to the beach, listening to music, spending time with her family and friends, and eating lots of good food; and,
WHEREAS,      Amanda always tries to see the best in people and makes the best of all situations; she describes herself as being considerate, optimistic, and enthusiastic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
