IN   RECOGNITION
WHEREAS,      Mr. Paul Douglas Rhodes, known as "Doug", and his wife Sherry live in Gonzales, Louisiana and are the parents of daughter Dusty; sons John Paul, husband of Holly, and Robby, husband of Dayna; and they are the proud grandparents of Allie Grace and Annie Marie; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug is a 1972 graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana and attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug is a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Gonzales; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug is a life-long and devoted fan of Louisiana State University (LSU) sports; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug started working for Entergy on June 3, 1974 and has held many positions with the company such as Lineman, Engineering Estimator, Customer Service Representative - Residential, Customer Service Representative - Commercial, Commercial and Residential Lighting Sales, and Customer Service Manager; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug has been the Customer Service Manager for the Metro Region, which includes St. Charles Parish, for several years and has served the Parish's businesses and citizens admirably; and,
WHEREAS,      Doug will be retiring from Entergy on December 1, 2014, after devoting over 40 years of service to the company and its customers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby express our sincere thanks and appreciation to
