Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Beverly Construction Co., L.L.C. for the construction of Project P011009 Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI in the amount of $168,128.31.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on September 6, 2002, for the Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI Project; and,
WHEREAS, Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Beverly Construction Co., L.L.C., in the amount of $168,128.31.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Beverly Construction Co., L.L.C. for the construction of Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI be hereby accepted in the amount of $168,128.31.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2002, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
