Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Lease of Commercial Property with Jackie Bee Corporation to house the Department of Legal Services.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Legal Services is currently located at 14108 River Road in Destrehan, the private office of Robert Raymond, Director of Legal Services; and
WHEREAS, due to the limited space in the current office it is the desire of the Parish to lease office space to more adequately meet the needs of the Department; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Bee Corporation has agreed to lease a 1,526 square foot office suite, known as Suite 320 of One American Place located on River Road, Luling to house the Department of Legal Services; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Lease.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Lease of Commercial Property by and between Jackie Bee Corporation and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Lease on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
