  IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Glenn Fahrig, a resident of Boutte, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish, is a graduating Senior at Hahnville High School; and,
WHEREAS,      Glenn has excelled in academics and is the Hahnville High School Salutatorian for the graduating class of 2001; and,
WHEREAS,      Glenn during his years at Hahnville was a member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society; and,
WHEREAS,      Glenn was a member of the Symphonic Marching Jazz Band and performed during the summers with his brother Jasper in the St. John Community Theater Orchestra; and,
WHEREAS,      Glenn will be attending the University of Central Florida in the fall, pursuing a degree in Forensic Science; and,
WHEREAS,      Glenn has been interested in sciences since middle school reading fiction and non-fiction true crime stories leading to his choice of the University of Central Florida being one of a handful of schools offering forensic science as a major area of study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to

 development, known for its
 hospitality, rural living and sporting
 opportunitiesÂ… with the added
