Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) - Final for Parish Project No. P011009, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI, to balance contractual quantities with actual job quantities.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-10-3 adopted October 7, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Beverly Construction Company, L.L.C. for the construction of Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI in the amount of $168,128.31; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-2-4 adopted February 3, 2003 by the St. Charles Parish Council, increased the contract time by 38 days due to inclement weather
WHEREAS, the project was completed by Beverly Construction Company, L.L.C. four (4) days ahead of the contract completion date and $7,031.73 under the original contract price.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. Two (2) - Final for Parish Project No. P011009, Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization - Phase VI, to reduce contract time by Four (4) days and offer a $7,031.73 credit to St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
