An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, to change the zoning classification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of a lot designated as a portion of Parcel A, and approximately 700 sq. ft. of a lot designated a portion of Parcel C, as shown on a Survey of a Portion of Parcels "A" and "C", Carolyn Drive Subdivision, by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated May 6, 1974, as requested by Kenneth Martin, Jr.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning from C-2 to R-1A(M) on approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of a lot designated as a portion of Parcel A, and approximately 700 sq. ft. of a lot designated a portion of Parcel C, as shown on a Survey of a Portion of Parcels "A" and "C", Carolyn Drive Subdivision, by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated May 6, 1974, as requested by Kenneth Martin, Jr; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of October 13, 2022.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, is further amended to change the zoning classification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of a lot designated as a portion of Parcel A, and approximately 700 sq. ft. of a lot designated a portion of Parcel C, as shown on a Survey of a Portion of Parcels "A" and "C", Carolyn Drive Subdivision, by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated May 6, 1974, as requested by Kenneth Martin, Jr.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of a lot designated as a portion of Parcel A, and approximately 700 sq. ft. of a lot designated a po...
